Merry Christmas!
I had more fun this year than I have had in years! We were able to spend quality time with both of our families, as well as our own. What a special time for us. The boys had a great time as well. Earlier this month we set up the tree, only to have it break the next day. It made the season get off to a rough start. Heidi gave us her 4 ft tree and we re-decorated. The kids had concerns with the little tree and wondered if we were going to have a little Christmas. Christmas was normal and they weren't disappointed. Here's a few pictures of happy faces on Christmas morning. And, yes, that is a Snuggie--just what Matt wanted!

What do you do with a little boy like this?...Love him!
Of course he's the baby, but he is also one funny little boy. That must explain why 98% of the pictures we have from this year are of Keifer. We all love him and laugh at him daily. Here are just some fun pictures of Keifer being Keifer.
Aside from Keifer's looks, his love for chocolate proves he's a Caldwell. We stopped by the Nickelad one day and saw Grandpa, which is always a treat for the boys because he has M&Ms in his office. As soon as Keifer saw the chocolate, he began making "Oh, oh!" noises in excitement and flapping his arms. When he got the handful of M&Ms he shoved them all in his mouth at once and couldn't have been happier.
A few days later we were having some candy bars for movie night and I was cutting one up to give to Keifer. He came crawling toward me at full speed, saying "ampa, ampa!" (grandpa) and his reaction was just like when he had M&Ms. I thought this picture showed how much he likes chocolate. It also shows how much Joe likes to write on his little brother. :)
House

We've been talking and trying to plan for buying a house for the last couple years. We've planned on buying the one we are currently renting and even started having house plans drawn up for an addition. For some reason, every time we would try to proceed with things on the house we are in, it just wasn't right. We've thought it was a timing thing, but after 2 years, the time still wasn't right. Several months ago I began looking at other houses to see if there were options that would work better for us. I found a couple that I felt good about, but couldn't seem to move things forward on. Well, last week the price dropped drastically on this HUD home and we submitted a bid and got it! Its a bit of a surprise because we didn't feel like we were close to moving-we thought something might happen next year, just not at the beginning of it! Well, it needs a little TLC on the inside before we can move in, and of course we have to close on it first-so we'll move the latter part of February. That was certainly a Christmas present that was unexpected. We all have our apprehensions about moving, but know that it is the right thing for our family.

Sleeping
We have several pictures of the kids sleeping. I think we must take them because they look so sweet and innocent when they are sleeping.
I laughed when I was loading pictures on the computer and found this one of Keith.
The boys decided one morning that they needed a picture of Dad sleeping. Keith said he hopped back in bed for them so they could take the picture.
